Sputnicker Sisters

New re-worked tour in 2016 – booking now!

Following a twenty year absence, the former Russian award winning trio makes their communist comeback. Gymnastic champions in the 1980’s and now undeterred by age and gravity, the Sputknicker Sisters still believe they are at the top of their game.

Marvel in the muscle of ‘Iron Bloc Olga’, be dazzled in the glitter of ‘Tarty-ana’ and gasp at malnourished ‘Marta’.

Breaking new ground in dance, REAL SKILLFUL gymnastics and song, these Soviet sisters are pioneers of their time in this 30 minute high octane street show with a revolutionary appeal. These lovely Russian girls only speak basic English unfortunately, but that means that everyone with the smallest amount of pigeon English can follow and understand this piece of visual and physical comedy.

Originally funded by Arts Council England, devised by Fraser Hooper and SWANK and directed by Petra Massey (Spymonkey), the show will be re-worked for a second tour in 2016
