SWANK are in our element creating new ideas, adapting old ones or working to a specific brief. We thrive on creative collaborations that suit specific themes, locations or events and have an experienced professional pool of performers and makers to draw upon

This area of work is one that SWANK are keen to grow over the next phase of it’s development, so give us a challenge. It needn’t cost the earth (though it might!) and is definitely worth a conversation – you never know what genius a collaboration could create!

Bling’n’Ting

‘OMG! is that your styling? Wicked! and what do you go into next?’

Born out of the NAM (PeckNAM), ‘Bling ‘n’ Ting’ are two oversized comedy street styling teenagers who are out for a good time and a chance to spread the word about what can be done with ‘stuff’.

Bling and her pal Ting are into anything that sparkles and are full of chat. Complete with complicated handshakes, high fives and coolio greetings, naff street dance routines, break dancing, parkour and gangster rap, these girls are classic British caricatures of ‘yoooff culture innit’.

Bling ‘n’ Ting was a BESPOKE SWANK creation, made at the World Expo in Shanghai, where the SWANK girls were overwhelmed and delighted to find themselves in a wonderland of plasticness and glittery things. They are hilariously and perfectly placed out of their comfort zone (an inner city British street) to wonder at all the world has to offer.

Price Check

‘Have you been touched by human hand? Let’s price you up!’

Price Check brings the comedy into shopping with our two cashiers, with their scanners, price guns, portable ‘muzak’ accompaniment and tacky tanoy announcements. That spillage in isle 7 will soon be cleaned up!

Everything and everyone has a value and is for sale. This priceless pair will  take a fun-filled look at consumerism and all aspects of shopping life and prepare the public for the purchasing and resale of their belongings, family and friends!

Star Fish Wives

‘Shirley Seabassy’ and ‘Tina Tuna’ are singing deep sea divas out on a day trip to visit the land. Shirley is a shingle mother with her giant prawn puppet baby in her giant prawn pram that plays the sound track to the stories of their lost loves. Tall Tina on stilts still manages to perform their choreographed routines with fantastic fishy panache and their public sing alongs always make waves!

This Arts Council funded show is a roving big visual delight, punctuated with beautiful mini performances that really bring the characters to life and show their hidden depths.
